- General Duty (GD):
- 12th with Maths & Physics, plus a graduate degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com) with minimum 60% marks.
- Technical:
- 12th with Maths & Physics, plus B.Tech/B.E. in relevant branch (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics) with minimum 60% marks

🔍 Selection Process
- Stage‑I – CGCAT: 2‑hour computer‑based test, 100 MCQs (4 marks correct, –1 for wrong)
- Stage‑II – PSB: Cognitive Battery Test + Picture Perception & Discussion Test
- Stage‑III – FSB: 5‑day Psychological Test, Group Task, Personality Interview at CGSB Noida
- Stage‑IV – Medical Exam: Conducted at Base Hospital, New Delhi
- Stage‑V – Induction: Selected candidates join training at INA Ezhimala (Naval Orientation Course), tentatively early 2026
